I honestly like it here a lot. You never have a long wait, they have plenty of staff who are nice and professional. Not one of those places understaffed where the few MAs or NAs seem overworked and checked out. The PA I see here is Lia Davis. She shows a genuine concern for your overall health and wellbeing.

Betsy Joyner is wonderful. I have been a patient of hers for awhile. She is very empathetic and takes the time to hear you as a person. I have had some issues with rude staff members over the years or people that clearly aren't the greatest at their jobs but overall I keep coming back and remaining a patient because of my provider. She is amazing!

I have been a patient at NeighborHealth since they opened 7 years and could not be more pleased with the care I've received. Everyone from the providers to the person greeting you at the reception desk are SO kind and clearly love both what they do and the patients they serve. The "melting pot" atmosphere is wonderful and I love that as an insured patient, my visits help pay for those of others who cannot afford such excellent health care. If you need a medical home, go to NHC! You will be so glad you did!!!

I truly cannot say enough about Dr. Briggs. He is, without question, the best doctor I have ever had. From the very first appointment, it was clear that he genuinely cares for his patients—not just as medical cases, but as people. No matter how long it’s been between visits, he always remembers me and personal details about my life, which makes me feel incredibly respected and valued. Dr. Briggs is never judgmental. He listens with empathy and treats every concern with sincere compassion and understanding. I always leave his office feeling heard, supported, and empowered in my health decisions. He creates a space where I feel safe and seen, which is rare and so appreciated. What truly sets Dr. Briggs apart is his unwavering commitment to his patients' dignity, autonomy, and overall well-being. His care model is clearly rooted in respect, empathy, and trust. In a world where healthcare can sometimes feel impersonal or rushed, Dr. Briggs brings the opposite—thoughtfulness, patience, and a deep investment in those he cares for. NeighborHealth is faith based healthcare and you can feel the difference. The staff members are kind and they work together to provide “wrap around services.” You can come here with or without insurance. They help all people regardless of their ability to pay. This is probably the first time I ever felt comfortable being 100% honest with a medical professional. They use all the same tools: my chart, texts, etc. The biggest difference is their welcoming demeanor. Looking forward to patronizing this healthcare center for years to come.
